ABOUT ME

Growing up wild and free in the Scottish countryside, I spent my days exploring outdoors and rainy afternoons drawing, reading and getting lost in stories borrowed from the local library. Those early moments of creativity and wonder continue to shape my work today.

After studying Landscape Architecture in Gloucestershire, I worked with design consultancies in the UK and Oslo before an adventure took me to San Francisco to design a shop - and grow up a little along the way. I now live in the East Sussex countryside, where I create illustrations rooted in observation, storytelling and the small moments that help us feel more ourselves.

Using both traditional drawing techniques and digital tools, I create artwork for books, brands, stationery and collaborative projects, always aiming to bring warmth, character and moments of noticing into everyday life.

WHAT DRIVES MY WORK

I believe connection - to nature, to ourselves and to each other -helps us notice what often gets overlooked in everyday life.

Nature gives us something outside ourselves that is easier to notice than what is happening inside ourselves.

Through illustration, workshops and writing, I hope to create small moments that encourage people to pause, notice and trust what they find.

BEYOND THE DRAWING BOARD

Alongside my illustration practice, I’ve taught yoga for over twenty five years, working with all ages from energetic three-year-olds to wise eighty-three-year-olds. Teaching has deepened my understanding of emotion, human connection and the importance of meeting people where they are.
