ABOUT ME

IMG_3040_edited_edited.jpg

Growing up wild and free in the Scottish countryside, I spent my days exploring the great outdoors and my rainy afternoons lost in drawing and the endless stories from our local library. Those early moments of wonder and creativity shaped everything I do today.

After studying Landscape Architecture in Gloucestershire, I worked for design consultancies in the UK and Oslo before an adventure took me to San Francisco to design a shop - and grow up a little along the way. Now settled in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, I've traded my traditional pen and ink techniques for a modern digital approach using Procreate, which allows me to work faster for commissions while maintaining that authentic hand-drawn feel I love.

What Drives My Art.

My art is rooted in a deep belief that connection - to nature, to ourselves, and to each other- is the secret to a more contented and resilient life. Every greeting card, notebook, and illustration I create is designed with this in mind, offering a burst of colour or a moment of calm that can genuinely transform someone's day.

Whether I'm illustrating a children's book, creating bespoke artwork for a special commission, or designing stationery that helps you pause and reflect, my goal is always the same: to help you switch off from the noise and reconnect with what truly matters.

Beyond the Drawing Board

When I'm not illustrating, you'll find me teaching yoga - something I've been passionate about for 25 years, working with everyone from energetic 3 -year-olds to wise 83-year-olds. I enjoy helping people of all ages find their centre, breathe a little deeper and stand taller.
